I've only used the basic 18-55 and 50 f1.8 lens, so typically, how far do you stand from the subject for full body shots? Close up portraits? Just to get a general idea if what I would be working with - choykevin
you’ll be surprised how wide a 50mm is on a full frame.
with an 85, imagine it like a 50mm on a crop sensor.
you could check out the lens locally and test it out. typically, im maybe 4-5 feet back to get the subject above their waist.
